Snellen van Vollenhoven, The Hague; his sale, The Hague, 24 April 1876 (Lugt 36459), no. 101 (as W. Troost; for 200 guilders to ‘Hooft’); purchased, 1876. Furthermore, alignment is landscape with a ratio of 4 : 3, which implies that lengden er 33% lengre enn bredden. Cornelis Troost was a male actor, painter, whose art style can be classified as Baroque. The Dutch painter was born in the year 1696 and died at the age of 54 i 1750.
