Ink on paper, mounted on cardboard was applied by the Russian artist as the technique for the work of art. The masterpiece has the following text as inscrption: "lower right in ink: K / back on the cardboard top left in pencil: KANDINSKY - drawing into image Black lines (1913) / of which by Gabriele Münter with red crayon: Black lines / top right: 1927 / bottom left in pencil: Munter". Besides, the piece of art forms part of the digital collection of Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus und Kunstbau München.
